|
Cabo San Lucas pitcher Ashley Heath did his part in helping his team beat the San Francisco Earthquakes, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Earthquakes, now 18-36, have lost 5 in a row.
Jorge Sandoval, who is rated as the 84th best prospect by BNN, aided the Cabo San Lucas cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Heath told a Cabo San Lucas Daily reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
