Multi-HR Day for Obombo as Mustangs Overpower Warriors, 21-5
The San Angelo Mustangs topped the Winfield Warriors, 21-5, with youngster Lazarus Obombo playing a key role. Obombo hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Mustangs in the win. The winner was Garth Bankston, who threw 157 pitches over 9 innings. The left-hander was charged with 5 runs on 10 hits. The Mustangs bumped their record to 37-17 with this latest triumph.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from right fielder Ryan Blossom. For the game, Blossom went 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
