Victory Pushes Princes Record to 29-22
|
The Bel Air Princes defeated the Nichols Gnats, 6-0, in Donnie Moore League action at Philip Banks Field, with Bel Air pitcher Lee Krause named player of the game. John Balis earned save number 2. The Princes bumped their record to 29-22 with this latest triumph.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fourth inning, but Krause was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Nichols trailing 2-0, Krause retired Oscar Montelongo, who struck out.
