The Kings grabbed a win, 6-3, at The Royal Colosseum, overcoming a fine effort from Coney Island pitcher Bobby Criss. Criss went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs. Atlantic City reliever Tom Greer got the win, raising his record to 3-3. Troy Hampton was tagged with the loss. Atlantic City goes to 26-23. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
Dusty Hicks chipped in for Atlantic City with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
