The St. Petersburg Pelicans got a stellar effort from pitcher Ryokan Endo, helping St. Petersburg score a 5-2 win over the visiting New Orleans Jedi Knights. Earning his 5th save for St. Petersburg was Kelly Livingston. St. Petersburg is last in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division with a record of 20-32.

The Pelicans got a big at-bat from third baseman Jerry Mays. For the game, Mays was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the eighth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave St. Petersburg a 3-2 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Endo.
