Garcia 'Lights Out' in San Angelo Win
|
The San Angelo Mustangs got a strong performance from pitcher Dan Garcia, who stymied the Westside offense en route to a 5-0 win at Road Warriors Field. The first-place Mustangs now have a 4-game winning streak.
The Mustangs liked what they saw from Garcia. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Road Warriors to no earned runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 10.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Garcia told the San Angelo Bulletin.
