Blizzard Get Close Win Over Lake Monsters

Okanagan pitcher Nick Allen gave the Blizzard all they could handle, but in the end, Taos left The Igloo with a 5-2 win. Allen allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 7 innings. Caleb McBee recorded his 5th save for Taos. Taos is now 21-27.
Had Nelson Burgos not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Burgos hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Blizzard.
Burgos attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
