Bush Wackers Come Up Short at Kingwood
The Kingwood Knights dealt the Brisbane Bush Wackers a 5-4 loss at Stable Park. Don Robinson was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. Kingwood reliever Kevin Neily picked up the win to move to 2-2. Luis Santana suffered the loss. Dylan Thompkins closed it out for his 2nd save.

Had Eric Head not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Head hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Knights.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Head, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The Knights bumped their record to 24-22 with this latest triumph.
