Panthers Come Back Late to Top Black Squirrels

Tree City right fielder Cole Capone was sensational. He was 3-5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Charleston beat the Black Squirrels, 7-4. Capone was named the player of the game despite the loss. The 'W' lifts Charleston's record to 18-28.
Jeff Henson was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Charleston. The 22-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Bob Galloway. It was his 17th walk of the season.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Henson. "And not try to do too much."
