Knights Come Back Late to Top Bush Wackers
Kingwood left fielder Mike Carney made his presence felt in the 6-4 Knights triumph over the Brisbane Bush Wackers. Carney went 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Knights bumped their record to 23-22 with this latest triumph.

Carney had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a full count sinker from Jose Laracuente, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Knights a 6-4 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Carney.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Carney. "And not try to do too much."
