Bloodhounds Come Back Late to Top Emeralds
|
A 3-RBI performance from Glenn Wilson helped the Boise Bloodhounds beat the Eugene Emeralds, 6-4. The win was Jordan Garner's in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Roberto Delaluz took the loss for Eugene. Hidehiko Yasuda recorded his 1st save for Boise.
Wilson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 fastball from Roberto Delaluz, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bloodhounds a 6-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Wilson.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Wilson said after the game.
Boise now has a 3-game win streak.
