The Brisbane Bush Wackers put together a convincing win at Stable Park, defeating the Kingwood Knights, 13-1. Willie Hayes was one of the hitting stars. He was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Brisbane. Brisbane occupies second place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division at 23-24.
The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from first baseman Sergio Sosa. For the game, Sosa was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Brisbane a 2-0 lead.
