Kings Win in Glorious Fashion
The St. Petersburg Pelicans and Atlantic City Kings provided some drama at The Royal Colosseum.

St. Petersburg got a terrific game from catcher Dan Stoner. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Atlantic City, 5-4. Stoner was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Atlantic City reliever Tom Greer picked up the win to move to 2-3. Juan Duran suffered the loss.

Duane Diamond was the walk-off hero for Atlantic City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kings right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"It feels good to get this one," Diamond told the Atlantic City Observer.

The Kings bumped their record to 22-22 with this latest triumph.
