The Bloomington Blazers topped the Vancouver Pioneers, 9-3, with youngster Roger Barrett playing a key role. Barrett went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Blazers in the win. The Blazers bumped their record to 29-23 with this latest triumph.

Henry Morris, who is rated as the 46th best prospect by BNN, aided the Bloomington cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once.
