Dancin' Outlaws Win at Taos, 2-0
|
West Virginia and Taos duked it out at The Igloo and the Dancin' Outlaws came out victorious.
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws knocked off the Taos Blizzard, 2-0, at The Igloo. Bill Corrales, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason West Virginia won. The designated hitter went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. West Virginia reliever Harrison Keightley picked up the win to move to 4-0. Francisco Morales suffered the loss.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Corrales hit a solo home run. It propelled the Dancin' Outlaws into the lead, 1-0.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Corrales.
The Dancin' Outlaws have now won 4 straight.
