Atlantic City beat Barrow at The Blizzard Bowl, eking out a 4-3 win. The win was due in large part to right fielder Duane Diamond, who earned player of the game honors. Tom Greer, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save. The Kings now own a record of 20-19.
Jose Martinez helped out the Atlantic City cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 3 with a walk.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Martinez. "And not try to do too much."
