The Las Vegas Aces picked up a win at The Fire House, knocking off the Santa Fe Fuego, 7-1. Starting pitcher Dave Garcia played a key role in the triumph. The Aces, at 19-34, sit in 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division.

Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Greg Holder to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Aces on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Enjoyed this one," Garcia told the Las Vegas Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
