Bloodhounds left fielder Ken Johnson put his stamp on his team's 6-3 win over the Nichols Gnats. Johnson went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Boise in the contest. Justin Bolling finished to wrap up his 5th save. The Gnats fall to 10-20 and continue their lackluster start in 2034.

Johnson contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Boise in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Johnson took a fastball from Wilson Robles and stroked the double to left-center. His 9th double of the season allowed the Bloodhounds to leap in front, 3-2.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Boise manager Todd Barrett.
