Pelicans Lose, 3-1, at The Blizzard Bowl

The Barrow Frosties had to overcome a big game from St. Petersburg first baseman Jordan Vargas to leave The Blizzard Bowl with a 3-1 victory. Vargas went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. The Pelicans fall to 12-21 and continue their lackluster start to the 2034 season.
The Frosties got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Steve Clark. For the game, Clark went 1-1 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Barrow a 2-0 lead.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Clark told the Barrow Daily News.
