Elks Stadium was the site for Lyman Bostock League action featuring the Okanagan Lake Monsters and St. Paul Saints.
The St. Paul Saints relied on the hitting of second baseman Edgar Garza to stop the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 8-4. For the game, Garza went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. With the loss, Okanagan sinks to 16-13.
Vinny Tarin helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 3-run home run to give St. Paul a 3-0 lead.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Garza.
