Atlantic City Kings starter Jeremy Jefferson turned in a top-notch performance against the Victoria Vikings at The Royal Colosseum. The result was a win for the Kings, 3-2. The Vikings fall to 9-19 and continue their lackluster start in 2034.
Simon Watkins drew 2 walks for Atlantic City. The 22-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Tony Nevarez. It was his 8th walk of the season.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Watkins. "And not try to do too much."
