The Brisbane Bush Wackers reigned over the San Angelo Mustangs in damp conditions at Baylor Ballpark.
Starting pitcher Roger Mora pitched well enough to help the Brisbane Bush Wackers beat the San Angelo Mustangs by the score of 5-3. Earning his 4th save for Brisbane was Jose Laracuente.
Had Qing-nian Hsu not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Hsu hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Bush Wackers.
"Enjoyed this one," Mora told the Brisbane Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
Losses have been few and far between for the Mustangs so far this season. Their record drops to 18-9.
