The Boise Bloodhounds knocked off the Barrow Frosties, 10-2, at The Blizzard Bowl. Tim Sykes, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Boise won. The designated hitter was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Dave Grassa in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Josh Shumpert took the loss. The Frosties fall to 11-14 and continue their lackluster start to the 2034 season.

Sykes had a key at-bat for Boise early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and gave Boise an early 2-0 lead.

"We played hard and won," said Sykes. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
