Chandler Goes Wild, But Hornets Win
|
The inspired effort of Taos left fielder Eric Chandler was not enough to prevent a 10-4 loss to the Bethesda Hornets. Chandler went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Jung-hoon Pak earned the win to go to 3-1. He allowed 2 earned runs on 7 hits, with 5 walks and 7 strikeouts. With the loss, Taos is 12-10.
Toshiya Shiraishi aided the Bethesda cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first. For the game, the catcher was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.
