A nice crowd turned out to see the Bel Air Princes and Brisbane Bush Wackers clash at Baylor Ballpark.
The Bel Air Princes clobbered the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 12-0, at Baylor Ballpark today. Bel Air catcher Tama Loa was named player of the game for his productive day. He was 3-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Ken Stein, the winner, improved to 1-2. He held the Bush Wackers to no earned runs on 3 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 11 and walking 4.
Jose Chaves chipped in for Bel Air with a run-scoring single in the top of the second. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Loa told reporters after the game.
