The Houston Sting topped the Barrow Frosties, 4-2, in Donnie Moore League action at Woodland Park. The player of the game was Houston second baseman Billy Cree. The winner was Bob Wood in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Tim Gary took the loss. The Frosties fall to 8-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2034 season.
Troy Tisdale, who is tied for 9th in the DML in triples with 1, aided the Houston cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate.
