The St. Petersburg Pelicans topped the Bethesda Hornets by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Jim Roach. Roach went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Pelicans on the day. St. Petersburg reliever Rudy Brisson was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Juan Ortiz took the loss. The Hornets fall to 7-10 and continue their lackluster start to the 2034 season.

Omar Mora, who is tied for 3rd in the DML in RBI with 13, aided the St. Petersburg cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the second. For the game, the center fielder went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk.
