Dancin' Outlaws Drop Another One
|
Benefiting from Eric Chandler's productive game, the Taos Blizzard downed the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 9-2. Chandler was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the Blizzard. Tommy Pucher earned the win for Taos. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 10 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 2-1. The Blizzard, now 10-4, have been playing some good baseball.
In the top of the first inning, left fielder Ric Witkoski came through big-time for the Blizzard. With Taos leading 1-0, he belted a 3-run home run.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Keith Irwin. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
