Quebec turned a good effort from starter Lewis Portsmouth into a win over the Rubber City Rhinos at The Rubber Grounds. The final score was 7-0. In 6.1 innings, Portsmouth surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The Armada bumped their record to 28-22 with this latest triumph.

Mike Duren, who is tied for 9th in the TML in bases on balls with 27, helped out the Quebec cause in the top of the fourth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
