Francisco Vásquez helped his team muscle past the Bel Air Princes, 8-4. In the game, the Bethesda second baseman went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The win takes Bethesda to 6-7.
Vásquez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-1 fastball from Toru Saito, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Hornets a 8-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Vásquez.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Vásquez said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
