Kings Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Atlantic City Kings bested the St. Petersburg Pelicans by a score of 4-1, with left fielder Jose Martinez getting the main credit. On the day, Martinez was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Kings. Tom Greer finished to wrap up his 5th save. The Pelicans fall to 5-8 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2034 season.

Early in the game, Martinez had a 3-run home run for Atlantic City. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Kings on top, 3-0.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Martinez told the Atlantic City Observer.
