The Taos Blizzard defeated the Barrow Frosties, 8-1, in Donnie Moore League action at The Blizzard Bowl, with Taos pitcher Javier Polanco named player of the game. The Blizzard, now 7-3, have been playing some good baseball.

The Blizzard liked what they saw from Polanco. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Frosties to 1 earned run on 4 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 9.
