Panthers Stymie St. Paul, Take 3-1 Win

The umbrellas came out during the Charleston-St. Paul contest at Franklin Mountains Field.
The Charleston Panthers bested the St. Paul Saints by a score of 3-1, with right fielder Dinh-Hy Mai getting the main credit. On the day, Mai was 2-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Panthers. Ronnie Kimble locked down his 2nd save.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the ninth inning, but Ronnie Kimble didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and St. Paul trailing 3-1, Kimble retired Bob Scott to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Kimble, with a wink.
Charleston, now 4-7, is off to a slow start.
