Harris drives in 5 runs as Bombers Squeeze Past Portland
South Carolina left fielder Shawn Harris had 5 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Portland Beavers, 8-7. Earning his 16th save for South Carolina was Ed Armstrong. The Bombers bumped their record to 28-21 with this latest triumph.

Harris contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for South Carolina in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 7-4, Harris took a fastball from Olivier Martin and stroked the home run to left. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Bombers to leap in front, 8-7.

"I like our moxie," said Bombers manager Randy Huggett.
