Black Squirrels Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Charlie Wife never let Houston get something going. The Tree City right-hander commanded his cutter in pitching the Black Squirrels to a 4-1 win. At 6-3, the Black Squirrels have played well so far.

The Black Squirrels got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jorge Juarez. For the game, Juarez was 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Tree City a 2-0 lead.

Wife told a Tree City Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
