Taos right-hander Fidel Castro pitched his team to victory over the Atlantic City Kings at The Igloo. The final score was 8-3. Terry Brown closed it out for his 2nd save. Taos, now 5-2, has played well in the early going.

Bernie Gramuglia aided the Taos cause with a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Castro.
