Princes Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Emeralds
|
Bel Air played host to Eugene at the friendly confines of Philip Banks Field.
The Princes faced a stiff challenge from Eugene pitcher Cristo Cruz, but persevered to claim a win at Philip Banks Field. The final score was 4-2. Cruz went 7 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The Princes, now 5-1, have stormed out of the gates.
Bel Air took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With no one out, shortstop Josh Cobleigh hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We put together a nice win," Cobleigh said.
