River Chiefs Bang Out 9-3 Win Versus Coney Island
|
The Chippewa River Chiefs saddled the Coney Island Cyclones with a loss at Coney Island Coliseum. The final score was 9-3. Brian Arms, named player of the game, was 2 for 4, including 1 single and 1 home run. The Chippewa center fielder scored 1 run and drove in 3. Chippewa reliever Marvin Duffy picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Francisco Trevino was saddled with the loss. The River Chiefs, now 4-1, have been playing some good baseball.
