The St. Paul Saints got a stellar effort from pitcher Danny Garcia, helping St. Paul score a 4-2 win over the visiting Okanagan Lake Monsters. St. Paul, now 3-2, has gotten their season off to a good start.
The Saints got a big at-bat from designated hitter Rudy Kuhn. For the game, Kuhn was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave St. Paul a 3-0 lead.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said St. Paul manager Alonso Rosas. "It's usually not just one thing."
