Yepez drives in 4 runs, Warriors Move to 2-0
A 4-RBI performance from Jose Yepez helped the Winfield Warriors beat the Nichols Gnats, 8-5. Derek Rolf picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Takayuki Tominaga was tagged with the loss. The Warriors, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.

Yepez had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Takayuki Tominaga, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Warriors a 6-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Yepez.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Yepez told the Winfield Observer.
