River Chiefs Rally For Late Win Over Saints
|
Adrián Ferreira had a 3-RBI game, during Chippewa's 10-6 triumph over the St. Paul. Ferreira contributed 1 single and 1 home run to the cause. Chippewa is off to a hot start at 2-0.
Juan Quevedo drew 1 walk for Chippewa. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring walk off Konrad Dortmans. It was his 2nd walk of the season.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said River Chiefs manager Eric Rice. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
