Atlantic City Kings starter Lourenço Russa brought his best stuff to The Royal Colosseum today against the Brisbane Bush Wackers, striking out 16 batters in his club's 6-0 victory.
In a strong performance, the 27-year-old Russa gave up 5 hits in his 6.1 innings of work and issued 4 walks.
"I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my splitter was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
