Snaps Turn Back San Antonio, 4-2
|
Cincinnati turned a good effort from starter Eloy Cisneros into a win over the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Studio. The final score was 4-2. Cincinnati reliever Cisco Núñez picked up the win, upping his record to 7-3. Brian Warkentin shouldered the loss. Cincinnati is now 65-95.
Cincinnati took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, first baseman Phil Dick hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Cisneros said.
