The Carson City Mustang topped the San Antonio Storm Troopers, 8-7, with catcher Morgan Kowalkowski playing a big role. Kowalkowski went 2-2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Mustang in the win. The win boosts the Mustang to 73-84. The loss puts the Storm Troopers at 88-68.

The Mustang got a big at-bat from left fielder Lee Cong. For the game, Cong was 1-4. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 59th hit of the season gave Carson City a 8-7 lead.
