Jeffries Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Riverside in Walk-Off Win
Riverside beat Silicon Valley at Red Bull Stadium, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to shortstop Louie Culley, who earned player of the game honors. Riverside reliever António Torres picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Shayne Cluff was collared with the loss. The 4th-place Red Bulls raised their record to 77-78.

The Red Bulls got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Larry Jeffries. For the game, Jeffries went 1 for 1. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 24th hit of the season gave Riverside a 6-5 lead.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Riverside manager Will Hunt.
