People near Long Island Stadium no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.

The Sandy Springs Spartans got a sterling performance from left fielder Marc Dale, but the Ducks still prevailed, 7-6. Dale was named the player of the game in a losing cause.
