The umbrellas came out during the Spokane-Sandy Springs contest at The Kennel.
A 4-RBI performance from Ricardo Fierro helped the Spokane Bulldogs beat the Sandy Springs Spartans, 13-2. The win puts the Bulldogs at 71-81, while the Spartans drop to 72-79.
Fierro had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Bulldogs went on to win.
"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Sandy Springs manager José Parra. "We got flat-out beat."
