Hackers Get Close Win Over Hawks
|
Silicon Valley and Boise duked it out at San Jose Municipal Stadium and the Hackers came out victorious.
Silicon Valley Hackers starter António Domínguez was in fine form against the Boise Hawks at San Jose Municipal Stadium, leading his team to a 5-2 win. Silicon Valley reliever Shayne Cluff was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Jung-sang Lee took the loss for Boise.
Amari Cameron helped out the Silicon Valley cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the pinch hitter drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate.
Domínguez told the Silicon Valley Citizen: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
Silicon Valley has now won 4 in a row.
