The Osos had to overcome a good performance from Biloxi pitcher Lynn Clark to claim a 5-2 win at The Sand Dune. Clark went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Osos bumped their record to 78-73 with this latest triumph.

The Osos got a big at-bat from first baseman Coy Jacobs. For the game, Jacobs went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the top of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Ruidoso a 5-2 lead.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Jacobs told the Ruidoso Observer.
