Ducks Lose Again, 5-2, to Rats
|
Rock River Rats starter Pat Beckett was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Long Island Ducks, 5-2. Beckett, now 9-9, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 2 earned runs. Long Island now has a 6-game losing streak.
Ricky Boitel aided the Rock River cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk.
